| Berwin Leighton Paisner has appointed David Barnes as a partner. Barnes was previously a corporate partner at Linklaters and has built a global reputation for high-level cross-border corporate transactions. He spent ten years in Hong Kong establishing the office and more recently was global head of corporate for six years where, until 2011, he played a pivotal role in the development of the firm’s business in Asia.
K&L Gates’ Dubai office has welcomed Andrew Johnston as a partner in its corporate practice. He joins the firm from Clifford Chance. Johnston advises corporations, banks, asset management and trading groups and others on a variety of private equity, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial matters throughout the Middle East and North Africa region. |
