Howse Williams has added Paul Haswell as a partner. Joining from K&L Gates, Haswell focuses on non-contentious and contentious technology work, including technology contracts and licensing, data privacy and cybersecurity (particularly compliance with applicable data protection laws), telecommunications, outsourcing, licensing, cloud and data centres. He also advises on “new tech” and evolving technologies, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Haswell has worked on major technology disputes that have been resolved through litigation, arbitration and mediation.
He has over twenty years of experience working with dedicated technology companies, as well as clients from a broad range of industries who need clear and focused advice on all things tech. He also regularly writes on issues relevant to technology and is a regular speaker at conferences.
Haswell also writes the Tech Tales with Paul Haswell column in the IHC eMagazine.
