MTR Corp, ADGM, Clifford Chance, Baker McKenzie and Lawcadia were among the many deserving winners at our fourth annual In-House Community Counsels of the Year Awards dinner on May 30th (#IHCawards2019).
Andrew Cooke of Flash Entertainment was named In-House Counsel of the Year and Alain Charles Veloso of Quisumbing Torres won External Counsel of the Year.

Hong Kong’s MTR Corp won the award for Asia In-House Team of the Year, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas won Asia Visionary Client Service Law Firm of the Year, Lawcadia was recognised as Visionary Non-Law Firm Legal Services Provider and Baker McKenzie was once again named Most Responsive Firm of the Year.
Based on submissions from in-house counsel across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and our panel of independent judges, the awards recognise dedication, innovation, efficiency and value-add, integration, encouragement and improvement, and corporate social responsibility.
The goal of the In-House Community Counsel of the Year Awards is not only to shower our winners with well-deserved praise and recognition. By sharing some of the innovative solutions pioneered by in-house counsel and external providers uncovered through the awards process, we also hope to help stimulate the entire in-house community.
