![]() Expanding its reach further in Africa, and adding to its millieu of offices already on the continent, Eversheds has launched its latest offering in Durban, in an alliance with independent firm, Knight Turner creating a new outfit that will be called Eversheds KZN. As part of the firm’s initiative to drive its expansion in Africa and leverage opportunities there, Eversheds opened offices in Morocco, Tunisia, Ghana and Kenya in 2013. Eversheds’ Chief Executive Bryan Hughes commented “the latest agreement with Knight Turner [formed] part of our Pan African strategy” noting that “Durban offers a strong commercial and logistics hub.” For Knight Turner, the affiliation ramps up its “access to legal knowledge and resources,” according to founding partner, Andrew Turner. Eversheds joins a slew of firms including Norton Rose Fulbright, Baker & McKenzie and Dentons which have set up offices in Africa over the last three years. |
