Lim Tat was called to the Bar in 1989.  His depth of knowledge and experience in litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and collaborative practices enable him to represent clients in the resolution of their disputes by using the most appropriate and cost effective dispute resolution processes.  He is recognized in Who’s Who Legal: Mediation as being among the world’s leading commercial mediators. He is the recipient of the Outstanding Court Volunteer (Advocate & Solicitor Category) Award, Subordinate Courts (2013).  His experience includes having been an in house counsel for a NASDAQ listed US company and counsel for Microsoft’s anti-piracy efforts in Singapore.

Lim Tat has received appointments as expert on Singapore law in foreign proceedings, as sole arbitrator in arbitrations administered by SIAC and LSAS, and as sole mediator in mediations administered by SMC, SCCDR and FJC. Notable cases include disputes involving assets in excess of US$200 million.
