On 24 March 2017, the National Legislative Assembly (the “NLA”) passed the final reading of the draft Trade Competition Act (the “New Act”) with unanimous approval and on 18 April 2017, the final draft of the New Act was disclosed on the NLA’s website. The Act will come into effect 90 days after its publication in the Government Gazette, the date of which is still to be determined.
