The sun hasn’t yet set for GE’s former GC, Stephen Maloy

Following his retirement earlier this year, former Asia Pacific General Counsel of General Electric, Stephen Maloy joined ZICOlaw’s network in July, as their Senior Adviser.

ZICOlaw evolved within the ASEAN region as an offshoot of Zaid Ibrahim & Co (ZICO), a well-known firm in Malaysia. For three decades, Maloy was seen as a legal bastion for GE having cultivated its legal department in Asia from the ground up. He also led GE’s entry in Myanmar and Mongolia. Bringing a wealth of experience and numerous accolades with him, he will be responsible for developing a training programme for ZICOlaw’s team and offering his insights on a regional and international level. The company seeks to leverage his knowledge and skill set to achieve a competitive edge and capitalise on increasing trade within South East Asia.
