CloudSEK will deploy the capital raised through these rounds to fuel its next phase of product innovation, international expansion and further development of its artificial intelligence models and platform-level integrations. The round included participation from a mix of India and US-based investors, such as MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures and Tenacity Ventures, and strategic investors, including Commvault. JSA has also advised Felix Pharmaceuticals on a US$ 175 million investment by leading global private equity firm Advent International for acquiring a significant minority stake in the company. Founded in 2015, Dublin-headquartered Felix Pharmaceuticals develops and manufactures generic (off-patent) medicines for companion animals, such as dogs, cats and horses. The company boasts one of the industry’s broadest product portfolios, including 14 US FDA-approved drugs, with a robust pipeline under development. Felix supplies these products under private labels, and is one of the fastest-growing players in the global animal health space. Maples has also acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Yuanbao on its IPO of two million American depositary shares, each representing six Yuanbao Class A ordinary shares, on the Nasdaq. Yuanbao is a technology-driven online insurance distributor in China, specializing in personal life and accident and health insurance. The offering, which closed on May 1, 2025, raised approximately US$30 million. Vivian Lee led the firm’s team in the transaction, while Kirkland & Ellis International and Han Kun Law Offices advised on US law and Chinese law, respectively. Moreover, Maples has advised Chagee Holdings on its IPO of approximately 14.7 million American depositary shares, each representing one Chagee Class A ordinary share, on the Nasdaq. The offering, which closed on April 21, 2025, raised gross proceeds of approximately US$411.2 million, making it the second largest Chinese IPO in the US within the last three years. Chagee is a leading premium tea drinks brand, serving freshly-made tea drinks. The company operates teahouses in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and soon in the US.
