K&L Gates has added Dominic Gregory as a finance partner in its Tokyo office. Joining from the London office of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Gregory is qualified in England and Wales, Hong Kong and Japan (as a foreign qualified lawyer – gaikokuho-jimubengoshi). He focuses his practice on project financings and project development work, mining and resource transactions, restructurings and event-driven deals. His projects experience covers all forms of renewable energy and conventional projects, including mining, oil and gas, nuclear and petrochemicals transactions, and many other types of infrastructure and asset classes, including aircraft, road, rail, ships, casinos, real estate developments, data centers, battery storage and hydrogen transactions. Gregory also has extensive experience with green finance and many aspects of sustainable business practices. He regularly lectures, writes and consults in these areas, and participates in related global bodies and committees. In addition to Tokyo, Gregory has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. He has developed important client relationships in Japan and across the Asia and EMEA regions and the Americas.
