| Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its intellectual property practice with the addition of Jonathan Chu as a partner to be based in its Hong Kong office. Chu’s practice is focused on contentious IP matters. He advises a diverse mix of clients from sectors including entertainment, manufacturing, energy, media, retail and pharmaceutical. He joins from William WL Fan & Co where he was a partner.
Walkers has expanded its Hong Kong Finance & Corporate Team with the addition of James Webb as a partner. Webb has significant offshore and onshore experience and has previously worked in the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, London and Singapore. He advises on a wide range of debt transactions, including acquisition finance, leveraged finance, project finance, real estate finance, structured finance, bond issuances, general lending and restructurings. In addition, Webb acts on corporate transactions, including M&As, JVs, shareholder arrangements and corporate restructurings. His clients include major investment banks, financial institutions, investment managers, private equity and venture capital firms, international corporations, startups and high net worth individuals. |
